Leading bathroom manufacturer, Twyford Bathrooms is all set to make a big impression at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) Annual Exhibition 2013 where it will be showcasing its latest bathroom innovations available to the UK social housing sector.

Taking place on 25th - 27th June at Manchester Central, the CIH exhibition brings together all of the sector’s leading providers, partners and suppliers to showcase their products and services designed for affordable housing and regeneration. In 2012, the coveted event attracted an unprecedented 7,600 plus attendees, with this year looking to follow suit.

Located at stand P25, Twyford Bathrooms will have an expert team out in full force during the three days, promoting a variety of solutions which comprise affordability with unmatched functionality and design for housing providers.

Taking centre stage will be the popular Alcona toilet. Designed to suit all bathroom scenarios, the Alcona WC combines contemporary design with advanced water saving technology. The WC comes with the option of a unique Flushwise® 4/2.6L dual flush cistern that flushes on a staggeringly 2.6 litres of water, reducing the daily water usage in a home by up to 60 per cent. The result is assured broad appeal and exceptional water efficiency while retaining great value for money.

Completing the collection will be the coordinating Alcona 550 basin, fitted with Aquations Low Flow Monobloc brassware. Equally innovative, the Aquations taps incorporate double-click technology to regulate the water flow whereby one click reduces the flow to 2.5 litres per minute, while click two allows 5 litres per minute, making for further savings.

Furthermore, the event will see the showcase of both Twyford Bathrooms’ Celtic (steel) and Opal (acrylic) low volume baths. Featuring cleverly designed tapered internal shapes, these products have a capacity of 140 litres and 130 litres respectively in their 1700x700mm size, meaning that water usage is significantly reduced by up to 90 litres while retaining a thorough bathing experience.

Kevin O’Donnell, National Sales Manager – Domestic, at Twyford Bathrooms comments: “We are thrilled to be returning to the CIH exhibition this year where we will be showcasing our full scope of water-efficient innovations and other solutions designed for the sector.”

He adds: “As the issue of sustainability grows, housing providers are under increased pressure to ensure the most efficient building infrastructure in order to help save valuable resource and lessen the impact on the environment while coming under tight budgets. As a bathroom manufacturer, we want to show how, when it comes to water saving, there is an array of stylish and easy-to-install products which can make a major environmental impact and, in turn, help tenants to save money.”

“We look forward to meeting as many attendees as possible at the event, where our expert team will be happy to offer informed advice and give a snapshot of the vast solutions available.”
