Pentair Thermal management has recently been awarded CIBSE, The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, approval for its latest CPD Seminar: Innovation for Single Pipe Hot Water Services

The seminar looks at how to deliver energy efficiency, comfort and safety as well as carbon reductions and how an ‘act now’ policy results in benefits now and in the future. It also:

  • explains how single pipe hot water distribution needs to be implemented for long term efficient to delivery of safe, comfortable temperature, hot water.

  • reveals how to provide a method of heat loss compensation other than pumping water around a recirculating system.

  • describes how to design out inefficiencies in water production and distribution

  • provides methods to reduce embedded carbon by removing unnecessary system components.

  • clarifies how reductions in O&M requirements result in lifetime cost reduction

  • gives details on how future proofing by installing a system that will improve in carbon efficiency throughout its lifetime.

Pentair Thermal Management’s European Product Manager, Jonathan Jones, comments “Pentair continues to collaborate with CIBSE to ensure that information on the latest application solutions is available to its members without cost. Given the need for carbon reduction in the built environment, it is essential that access to this information is free and easy to reach.”
