Airedale - London Data Exchange Chooses Airedale International as its Cooling Partner

Cooling Systems - IT Cooling - Air Conditioning - Air Handling

Airedale Data Centre

London Data Exchange, which provides network-independent colocation solutions and data centres, chose Airedale International as its cooling partner.

Airedale designed a low-energy, resilient solution across three data halls and in the UPS room, enabling a target PUE of less than 1.3.

The fully integrated cooling solution comprises high efficient, high-capacity SmartCool air-conditioning systems and externally mounted condensers and DeltaChill free-cooling chillers.

The SmartCool™ units provide under floor cold aisle delivery at a constant 22°C to contained cold aisles for maximum efficiency. The SmartCool™ features speed controllable fans and multiple cooling stages for exact capacity match, saving substantial amounts of energy when operating at part load. Throughout the facility, the SmartCool™ units offer n + 1 redundancy.

Benefits delivered include Class A Energy Efficiency Ratios, up to 70% energy savings and maximum cooling efficiency through Airedale’s building energy management system, ACIS.
