Pump Equipment - Domestic Pumps - Solar Pumps - Booster Pumps

Lowara Engineers

Two specialist engineers from Lowara UK have passed the Certified Pump System Audit (CPSA) scheme as part of the company’s new energy audit offering in the UK.

After successfully completing a series of complex practical and written examinations under the scheme, Nick Morris and Paul Shute are now Qualified Pumping System Specialists.

The CPSA scheme, which has been developed by the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association (BPMA), enables industry leaders to assist their customers in becoming compliant with the EU’s upcoming Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).

Duncan Lewis, General Manager for Lowara UK, comments: “Investing in the specialist training and further education of our staff is of key importance to us. Nick and Paul are both highly skilled engineers and are the ideal candidates to help Lowara UK deliver a successful energy auditing programme.”

“With the new EED due to be fully operational by 2014, the successful completion of the CPSA scheme reiterates our support for reducing energy consumption across the sectors that we serve. I would like to congratulate them both on their achievements and wish them well with their new roles as our energy auditing function is launched.”

The CPSA scheme is intended to serve as a universally recognised standard of knowledge and achievement for those working within the pumping industry.
