JS Humidifiers - Condair Launch 3D BIM Humidifier Models

Steam Humidifiers - Cold Water Humidifiers - Gas Fired Humidifiers

The Condair range of steam and cold water humidifiers is now available to download in a BIM (Building Information Modelling) format from jshumidifiers.com and the Autodesk website.

The humidifiers, which are distributed in the UK by JS Humidifiers, include the Condair Mk5 resistive steam humidifier, the Condair CP3 electrode boiler humidifier and the Condair GS gas-fired humidifier. The 3D Revit files can be dragged and dropped into building plans providing consultants and designers with quick and easy access to product information.

Rik Prowen, Operations Director at JS Humidifiers, comments, “Building Information Modelling is central to the UK government’s plans for the development of the construction industry. Through this early adoption and investment in the production of 3D BIM representations of its humidifiers, Condair has reinforced its position as a World leading humidifier manufacturer in-touch with the current and future requirements of its customers.”

BIM provides valuable information and efficiencies throughout a building’s life cycle, from conception to construction and from operation through to demolition. It is a digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a building. This virtual information model is handed from the design team through to the contractors and then on to the operator, with each adding discipline-specific information.

JS Humidifiers is the UK’s largest humidification company with the widest range of products and offers a service of advice, design, supply, installation and maintenance. It also offers a comprehensive range of humidifier spares, not only for JS equipment but also for a large range of different manufacturers’ humidifiers, mostly available ex-stock.
