Carriers’ Latest Vertical Refrigerated Cabinets

Refrigerated Cabinets - Chiller Systems - Climate Control - Air Conditioning

Carrier Refrigerated Cabinet

Carrier, the world’s leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, has introduced the latest refrigerated cabinets in the Evolution 6 range. The all new MenEco™ vertical chiller and Mendos™ open multideck offer customers a new benchmark in terms of merchandising space and refrigeration performance. Carrier is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Both Mendos and MenEco cabinets boast unprecedented levels of footprint utilization, achieved thanks to a complete redesign of the air management system. The amount of space available for products is subsequently maximized, resulting in a shelf depth increase of more than 20 percent compared to equivalent existing models.

Specifically designed for closed operation, the MenEco vertical chiller delivers ground-breaking improvement in terms of merchandising potential, energy performance and appearance. The all-glass doors, in combination with MenEco’s new air management system, result in energy savings of up to 55 percent, compared to equivalent open multidecks.

"More produce, less cabinet: the Evolution 6 product range commitment is fully delivered with the launch of Mendos and MenEco, that offer food retailers more merchandising space without compromising refrigeration performance," said James Nutting, director, Evolution 6, commercial refrigeration, Carrier.
