Wienerberger, one of the UK’s leading providers of wall, roof and landscaping innovations, has added to its extensive brick offering by launching six new products into its Terca range.

• The launch of Marpessa Multi, Rudgwick Multi Stock, Staffordshire Smooth Crimson, Staffordshire Smooth Brown, Staffordshire Brown Dragfaced and Staffordshire Red Dragfaced represents the latest stage of the company’s drive to provide an unrivalled and market leading selection of walling options to its customers
• These new bricks have different characteristics and are targeted at different market sectors
• The Marpessa Multi is the latest addition to Wienerberger’s market leading range of handformatic bricks
• This red multi stock brick has a machine-made creased texture designed to replicate the handcrafted effect of handmade bricks
• Its warm colours and soft, creased texture mean it will be suited to a wide range of housing projects from one-off selfbuilds to larger scale developments
• The Rudgwick Multi Stock has been developed to simulate the appearance of clamp-fired bricks that are particularly popular in the South East of England
• It is an ideal merchant brick for match ups, extensions and high-end housing developments
• Both the Marpessa Multi and Rudgwick Multi Stock brick will be produced at Wienerberger’s Warnham factory
• The Staffordshire Smooth Crimson, Staffordshire Smooth Brown, Staffordshire Brown Dragfaced and Staffordshire Red Dragfaced are precise, extruded bricks specifically designed for specification projects, commercial developments and select housing projects
• They will be manufactured at Wienerberger’s Kingsbury site and will compliment the market leading range of blue bricks already produced there

Richard Brown, Wall Category Marketing Manager at Wienerberger, commented:
We are constantly looking to improve the scope and range of our products across the whole building envelope, and brick products and walling innovations are a particularly big part of that drive. These six new brick products are a great example of exactly that. With new colours, new techniques and new varieties, each of the bricks has been developed to better suit the needs of our customers, from specifiers and architects to merchants and self builders.
