Trend Controls to Demonstrate the Power of its BEMS at Data Centre World (Stand K65)

Trend Controls, the global Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) provider will be exhibiting at this year’s event. Trend BEMS are proven to significantly improve resilience for data centres, whilst at the same time minimising energy consumption. Trend systems monitor and manage a data centre intelligently to deliver market leading PUE ratings, with installations in some of the world’s most reliable data centres.

On display will be Trend’s 963 Supervisor, which is the ‘brains’ behind a BEMS system and provides a real-time user interface which monitors the way a building uses energy during different times of the day. Security settings ensure that the user is only presented with information and functions that are relevant to their authority or task and the 963 Supervisor even learns the structure of the system so that it can make adjustments to how the building services are configured.

Making its debut at an exhibition is the new Trend Energy Manager v2.0 - a powerful, intuitive monitoring and targeting package. Using meter readings and other variables logged by a BEMS, it enables building owners and managers to investigate how they are using energy, and devise strategies to reduce carbon emissions and save money.

Trend Energy Manager v2.0 can be installed on a company’s own server or be remotely hosted through the Trend Energy Solutions and Support Team and allows a wide range of modules, such as loops and drivers, to be incorporated and plotted.

The on-going reporting and analysis of a building’s energy consumption is vital in order to lower its carbon footprint, reduce wastage and save money and Trend Energy Manager v2.0 provides a fast, cost effective and user friendly way of controlling energy use and saves the user valuable time compared to manual analysis. Equally importantly, it raises the profile of energy consumption within an organisation and clearly demonstrates the consequences of certain patterns of behaviour.

Visitors to Trend’s stand will be able to find out how a Trend Energy Controls Audit can review the way a building is used, optimise the BEMS’ performance and identify new energy saving opportunities.

‘Building owners and managers are under immense pressure to implement processes and procedures that reduce the amount of energy used by their premises,’ commented Casey Wells, marketing manager at Trend Controls. ‘We are looking forward to showing visitors to Datacentre World how a BEMS can significantly decrease the costs of running their data centres, while lowering their energy and carbon usage.’

Trend will be situated on Stand K65, where its team of experts will be available to answer all your BEMS related questions.
