Cable management and energy solutions expert Marshall-Tufflex is pleased to announce its acquisition of the manufacturing assets of PQE Ltd. As a result it will be adding power factor correction to its growing energy management systems portfolio.

Power factor correction is a well-established technology, which improves the efficiency of how electricity is both supplied and consumed, so that kWh consumption and supply charges are lowered and cost savings on site achieved.

“PQE Limited has an excellent reputation for power engineering and a proven product range,” said Jim Fletcher, Managing Director of Marshall-Tufflex. “We are therefore delighted to have been able to secure its manufacturing assets and will continue to supply their technology to the industry under the Marshall-Tufflex brand. The coupling of PQE’s high quality, UK manufacturing standards and technical innovation with our own facility will strengthen our energy management offering.”

By adding the manufacturing assets of PQE, the East-Sussex based company will broaden its market-leading energy management portfolio, which includes voltage optimisation for domestic and commercial applications, and sub-metering. With the further addition of the power factor correction range, customers can experience a one-stop-shop for measuring, recording, analysing, improving and reducing power consumption.
