Panasonic Air Source Heat Pumps Offer Highly Efficient, Eco-Friendly & Cost-Effective Heating Solutions

Panasonic Aquarea Air Source Heat Pump in Taunton Home

Switching to renewable heat pump technology to heat your home is becoming an increasingly popular alternative. The Farnham family decided to take the plunge earlier this year and had a Panasonic air-to-water heat pump installed.

With a growing family, they recently moved to Somerset where their new home only had a small cylinder tank which did not cope with the increased demand when friends and family visited.

Zoe Farnham said: “We had a 25 year old boiler which was costing us about £8 a day. My father-in-law already had a ground-water heat pump and had heard positive feedback about the Panasonic heat pump.”

The Farnham’s spoke to heat pump supplier Energy Specialists about their requirements and they were able to advise them on the best solution for their home.

The Panasonic Aquarea air-to-water heat pump is an innovative solution that makes use of the inexhaustible thermal energy found in the air, extracting energy to supply hot water and heating for the home. By switching to Aquarea, it offers both environmental and financial benefits and is a sustainable alternative to oil, LPG and electric heating.

An extremely compact and versatile heating system – the Aquarea heat pump fulfils heating demands even in temperatures as low as -20°C.

Independent tests have also shown that Panasonic’s air-to-water heat pump is capable of saving up to 78% on heating expenses, and far more efficient than fuel-fired boilers, gas boilers and electric heaters.

Panasonic’s Aquarea heat pump was certainly the best solution for the Farnham’s as Zoe explains: “It does exactly what we want. Now that we are running off mains pressure, we have eliminated the tank from upstairs as that now sits outside. It’s actually quite quiet too. I expected it to be noisy but we don’t hear it at all.”
