PMA UK - New Connectors Added to Divisible System

Cable Protection - Cable Conduit - Cable Management - Flexible Conduit

PMA Connectors

Further to the release of our PMA Divisible System last year, we are delighted to announce two new additions, in the form of divisible junction pieces, to the series of components included in the range.

The new system has revolutionised the installation of cable protection, providing easy accessibility via a longitudinal clip mechanism which may be opened at any time. The new ‘T’ and ‘Y’ connectors exhibit the same advantage whilst expanding the range of applications to which the system is suited.

Ideal for use in industry, plant construction, machine building and electrical installations, the LYO and LTO connectors are made from high grade, specially formulated polyamide 6 and are free from halogens and cadmium. In addition to the many benefits of PMA conduit, the range offers increased flexibility, allowing for the addition of new cabling after installation has taken place. This advantage of the divisible range reduces time and the costs incurred where further installations are required, as well as cutting out the need for re-wiring or re-threading during repairs.

As with all products in the divisible range, the connectors offer high impact resistance and are easy to install: conduits can be fitted prior to closing, and a push-in installation of the conduit into a pre-installed fitting is achievable. The complete range now includes two divisible conduit types (PACOF, PPCOF), divisible fittings (BLNO-M), divisible lock nuts (BLN-M), system supports (BFH-XX-0) and the G.PX self-winding braid – as well as the Y and T connectors.

PMA products are well known for their flexibility and ease of installation. The PMA Divisible System takes flexibility to a new and impressive level: Not only does it ensure easy accessibility throughout installation, it allows the conduits to be opened and closed in a longitudinal direction at any time. The new additions to the company’s catalogue reflect the qualities of all products in the PMA brand: resistant, durable and supple without compromising on strength.
